Through six distinct awards, we honor those who make a difference in their school communities. Learn about our awards below! School Counselor of the Year AwardThe Indiana School Counselor of the Year Award honors exceptional professional school counselors in Indiana for their outstanding service and achievement. Through an extensive outreach process, Indiana school counselors, teachers, administrators, and others are all encouraged to nominate professional school counselors who run exemplary school counseling programs at their schools. Three SCOY awards are presented annually, one for a school counselor at each grade level (elementary, middle, and high school). Trailblazer AwardThe Trailblazer Award recognizes an exceptional professional school counselor who is new to the field (less than five years of experience). Administrator of the Year AwardNominee must be an administrator, coordinator, director, or supervisor of school, district or state school counseling services.
Support Staff of the Year AwardThe nominee must be a support staff member of a school, district, or state school counseling service. |
